Marshall Pollard, aka Mr. P, grew up intrigued by the power of every human being having a story. He realized early that far too many seemed to go (intentionally) untold. For over 15 years, he’s stood between front stoops and K-12 schools across the country discovering how the people who know what’s right for the next generation show up the right way.
Mr. P is the founder and Chief Executive Officer for STAYDRMN (staydrmn.com); a storytelling agency that lives out a “lifestyle of cultivating untold stories” through mixed-medium content production and curating intergenerational story-centered gatherings.
Believing the next generation is the greatest among us, Mr. P founded The Creative School (www.thecreative.school)—a Southeast, Washington DC 501c3 ensuring a growing number of “queens” and “kings”, 14 & older are equipped to capture stories of their people to design business solutions for their place.
Mr. P was selected by the World Economic Forum to be the founding Curator of The Global Shapers Hub in Birmingham, AL, was a 2020 Featured Speaker at Stanford d.school’s Futuresvery Summit, a 2020 Institute of Possibility Fellow, a 2021 Camelback Ventures Fellow, and the 2023 Design Observer Educator of the Year
