
Carter X. Rice is a senior at Prairie View A&M University, majoring in Digital Media Arts. He completed an internship creating a 3D digital exhibition highlighting the university’s first eight principals and served as website content manager for the School of Architecture. His coursework includes advanced classes in Typography, Layout, and Branding, and he has volunteered at Future Designers Day on The Hill (FDDOTH) to support upcoming designers. Recognized for academic excellence, Carter has been on the Honors and Dean’s List from 2022–2025 and was recently appointed president of Club Panther G.A.M.E.
Beyond academics, Carter refines his skills through drawing and 3D modeling, producing digital works such as statues, shoes, and bottles. He is currently learning C# programming with the goal of developing his own video game. Combining creativity, leadership, and technical skills, Carter is preparing for a career at the intersection of design and technology.
