Professional Background

Born a creative, trained a designer, and developed into a business leader, Tysonn graduated from the Alabama  School of Fine Arts in Birmingham, AL, completed his BFA in Visual Communication at Maryland Institute  College of Art in Baltimore, MD, and earned his MBA from Xavier University in Cincinnati.

A ~30-year veteran of Procter & Gamble, Tysonn retired from P&G in 2024 as Design Vice President, after having  led end-to-end Design teams across multiple categories and for the company’s most established brands and newest  innovations.

Professional accomplishments include:

  • Brand Building: Helping launch innovative brands like Swiffer and Zevo while growing iconic brands  such as Tide, Pampers, Crest, and Charmin.

  • Experience Design: Delivering unique and immersive experiences for P&G's Family Home at the 2012  London and 2014 Sochi Olympic Games, and Blink (Cincinnati’s art & light festival), and P&G’s corporate  architecture.

  • Strategic Leadership: Applying right-brain thinking to operational solutions, organizational strategy,  functional integration of design, and board service for organizations such as Breakthrough Cincinnati,  Elementz, Cincinnati Public Radio, Art Academy of Cincinnati, Artswave, Frank Duveneck Center,  Mosaic, and most recently as co-founder of Huenited Collective- a non-profit working with intention to  build better diversity in the design and advertising industry.

Personal

A Southern boy at heart, Tysonn rises from and frequently returns to the red dirt of Monroeville, AL, to breathe  God’s clean fresh air, or harvest whitetails in the piney woods. He appreciates a wandering road through the  bourbon trails of Kentucky and believes that giving back is life’s currency. His best days are spent laughing and  busting clays with his wife or giving any one or all his 5 adult children a well-deserved hard time—as any multifarious father should!
