Uzunma Kas-Osoka is a Content Design Manager on the Cisco IT Design team. In her role, she acts as the content design lead and strategist over Cisco's intranet, which includes an application platform (providing access to downloadable software, web apps, and sites approved for use at Cisco), a help desk, search, an employee directory, and more. She also co-leads the video communication team, which in addition to creating promotional videos for product releases, supports live Cisco events and keynotes for executives. Prior to her roles at Cisco, Uzunma’s held positions as an attorney and in the education sector as a Senior Mathematics Content Designer and an educator. Her love for mathematics, problem-solving, and finely-crafted prose were common themes shaping her career journey. She's found that there's no one role that shifted her gaze toward product design, but prioritizing communicating well, asking thoughtful questions, research, and generating ideas and solving problems to meet the needs of students, clients, customers, employees, or leaders are skills she leverages daily. Outside of the office, Uzunma enjoys watching Japanese and Korean films, bicycling, and spending time with her family and friends.
