We’re calling all artists, designers, and visionaries to create a poster that reimagines Black horror through your lens — spooky, funny, dramatic, surreal, or something no one’s seen before.

How to Enter

Remix a classic (Get Out, Candyman, Blacula, Tales from the Hood) or invent something new.
Show us bold concepts, haunting colors, and original stories that celebrate Black creativity.

• 1st Place: SoBD merch + $50 gift card

• Winners Announced: At SoBD’s Black Horror—Your Way event during the conference on October 31

• Display: Finalists’ posters showcased at the event; winning designs featured across PV campus after SoBD 2025

Poster Requirements

• Maximum size: 20 x 30 inches (portrait or landscape)

• Bring your printed poster ready to display — we’ll provide easels and clips on October 31
