Oen Hammonds is an award-winning executive design leader, educator, and advocate for people-centered design. Throughout his 20-year career, he has worked with agencies, startups, and Fortune 100 companies, helping teams transform complex challenges into intuitive, human-centered products and services. Oen received the 2023 Fellow Award from AIGA Austin and is known as a lecturer, commentator, and thought leader on design issues. He has spoken at various global conferences and universities, including Cairo Design Week in Egypt, the Hue Design Summit in Atlanta, and the Yale Business by Design Conference. Additionally, from 2021 to 2024, Oen served on the national board of directors for AIGA, the largest and most established design organization in the world.

For the past decade, Oen has led multidisciplinary teams focused on modernizing experiences that integrate product development, engineering, and research to enhance productivity and improve client satisfaction. His leadership style combines empathetic and servant-leadership principles with a robust UX maturity framework, enabling organizations to shift from ad-hoc experimentation to design-led innovation at scale.
