Cynthia Abalo is a twenty-two year old Togolese-born creative based in Minneapolis. Although her primary medium is photography, she is deemed multi-hyphenated in many art forms. She has a deep passion for art and her main objective is to push for more visibility & community for black people in the Twin Cities. With 6 years of experience running her own photography business—CYNVISUALZ— she’s also been able to find her footing in Creative Direction, Design and Project Management. With this skill set she founded NEO Narrative— a media collective centered around black creatives to continue building a new, positive narrative around the black art. Although being Multifaceted is demanding, Cynthia challenges the idea that someone of many passions has to stick to one thing in order tosucceed.
