
Stacey Monsen is a recognized inclusive design expert at Target, where she leads the Adaptive and Multicultural Technical Design teams within the Inclusive Design & Culture team. With a deep commitment to accessibility and equity, Stacey integrates considerations of body shape, size, age, gender, and both physical and cognitive disabilities into the product design and development process—ensuring that products are not only functional but truly inclusive for all.
Her career spans diverse business environments, from startups and privately owned companies to Fortune 50 corporations. She has built extensive product and consumer expertise across men’s, women’s, kids, plus, petite and maternity. Notably, Stacey played a pivotal role in launching Target’s Cat & Jack sensory-friendly and adaptive clothing line, designed for children and adults living with disabilities.
In 2020, Stacey’s work was spotlighted in the documentary Design for All, which highlighted the transformative power of inclusive design. Beyond her professional achievements, she is a passionate advocate and ally within the Autism and disability communities. She currently serves on the Lionsgate Academy School Board, where she contributes to the development and implementation of equitable district practices and policies for students receiving special education services.
