We understand that attending the State of Black Design 2024 is not just about the conference itself but also the overall experience, including where you choose to stay during this momentous event. To ensure your stay is as comfortable and convenient as possible, we've curated a list of recommended accommodations near the conference venue. These locations have been chosen for their proximity, quality of service, and commitment to providing a welcoming environment for our attendees.
Scarritt Bennett
Scarritt Bennett offers suite-style rooms across three historic residence halls. Each suite includes two sleeping rooms, most with twin-sized beds, adjoined by a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. These suites start at $80.00 and are equipped with one TV with streaming capabilities, a mini-fridge with a freezer, a microwave, and a dual drip coffee maker/Keurig. Additional overnight room options include full-sized beds, queen-sized beds, and private rooms.

Please be sure to let the representative know at the time of booking if you need a 1st floor room, as elevators are not available in the overnight buildings.
OMNI NASHVILLE HOTEL
The Omni Nashville Hotel, a 4-star establishment in Downtown Nashville, offers 800 air-conditioned rooms and suites. Located near Music City Center, Country Music Hall of Fame, and Johnny Cash Museum, the hotel provides various amenities, including a spa with massages and facials, an outdoor pool, a fitness center, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Dining options include southern cuisine at Barlines and room service. The hotel features a 24-hour business center, laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. It is pet-friendly, allowing dogs and cats with weight restrictions. The property is modern with a design reflecting the city's character, and it has five on-site restaurants. Essential workers are accommodated, and guests can easily explore the area with Nashville Riverfront Station within an 8-minute walk.
Gaylord Opryland Hotel
Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, located in the heart of Nashville, offers a luxurious experience with amenities such as SoundWaves, an aquatic attraction, and nine acres of indoor garden atriums. The resort provides various room options, including suites and guest rooms with atrium views. SoundWaves features water attractions, dining options, and party rooms.
For recreation, guests can enjoy Gaylord Springs Golf Links, an 18-hole golf course with scenic views. The resort also caters to events and celebrations with picturesque indoor and outdoor spaces.
Hilton Garden Inn
The hotel is located in Midtown Nashville, providing easy access to various neighborhoods. It is situated two minutes from Sylvan Park's restaurants,
bars, and shops, while Centennial Park and Vanderbilt University are within a mile. Popular attractions like Broadway, Downtown Nashville, and The Mall at Green Hills are less than three miles away. The hotel offers three meeting spaces and amenities such as a rooftop pool, fitness center, and lobby bar.
Parking options include on-site self-parking at $30.00 per day, with no valet service available. Electric vehicle (EV) charging is provided with two ChargePoint chargers on level "P1," offering 1.5 hours of free charging, followed by
$3.00 per hour thereafter. Secured parking is not available, but covered parking with in/out privileges can be utilized, and guests need to check in at the Front Desk before parking. For airport transportation, John C Tune Airport is 6 miles away, and Nashville International Airport is 13 miles away, both accessible via airport shuttles.
Millennium Maxwell House Nashville
Millennium Maxwell House Nashville offers a stay close to Downtown
