Code of Conduct
We are dedicated to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all conference attendees, vendors, and collaborators. Therefore, we expect all participants to adhere to the following code of conduct:
We are committed to fostering an environment that is free from discrimination, harassment, and bullying based on race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, religion, or disability.
We expect all participants to treat each other with respect and consideration, and to communicate in a professional and courteous manner.
We do not tolerate any form of physical, verbal, or emotional abuse, including but not limited to, insults, threats, or unwelcome advances.
We do not tolerate any form of discrimination, including but not limited to, denying equal opportunities based on any of the above-mentioned factors.
We expect all participants to respect the privacy of others and to obtain consent before sharing any personal information or images.
We encourage participants to report any violations of this code of conduct to the organizers, who will take appropriate action to address the situation.
We reserve the right to take any action deemed necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of our participants, including but not limited to, removing individuals from the conference without refund.
By participating in this conference as a vendor or collaborator, you agree to abide by this code of conduct. We believe that by working together, we can create a more inclusive and equitable industry for all black designers.
